One of the new tourist attractions in the area, namely Kintamani Batur Volcano Museum, which was inaugurated on May 10, 2007, is located in the Natural Park Penelokan Kintamani, Bangli. The museum was inaugurated by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Purnomo Yusgiantoro and has a goal to enrich the public knowledge of volcanoes in Indonesia, and Mount Batur in particular.

Museum collections in the form of various types of rocks from the volcano and description. Then there are also some equipment that scientists use to study volcanoes. As well as photographs of Mount Batur and several volcanoes in Indonesia and description. In addition, the mythology is concerned with Mount Batur, are also described in this museum.
